problem with rhodactis

Hi there,

I have an orange rhodactis in my tank that is not looking happy.

About a week ago, I was gone for the weekend, and one of my snails knocked the rock the rhodactis was attached to over. The mushroom was caught underneath. I imagine that the mushroom was caught underneath the piece of rubble for 1 or 2 days.

In the past few days, it has started to look more and more shriveled, and some of it's mesenteries are extruding.

Any suggestions on how to nurse it back?

Thanks,

Tim

I don't think there's anything you can do really, unfortunately, than to wait it out. I've had some do the same and some made it, some didn't

Hmm, thought so.

Would it be a good idea to move it to lower light while it is stressed, or should I just leave it be?

Tim

Yes, ^+1 for not being too much that you can do. I suppose you can try putting it in slightly lower light, though I don't know how much that would actually do to help the mushroom. Or you can just leave it where it is :) Good luck!
