Problem with Stream 6000

I have a pair of 6000 Streams with the Multicontroller. They worked flawlessly for months until I moved my tank. Now one is no longer functioning. I have tried switching the transformers around. It seems that one transformer is totally dead and will not power either driver. If I plug the good transformer into the bad driver, the driver box emits a faint, pulsating, 60hz buzz and the impeller does not turn. If I plug the bad driver into the Multicontroller by itself, the lights flash on and off in a strange pattern in sync with the pulsating buzz in the driver box. The impeller doesn't turn either. If both drivers are plugged in, the Multicontroller cheerfully ignores the bad one.

The impellers and chambers are clean and the stuck impeller warning sound is not emitted.

I would be sure everything is clean, the biggest problem when the parts dry out after some use is that the brake shoues or the mating surfaces of the upper bearing and magnetic rotor are fused or not smoothly moving. I would check everything for any water damage, even a drop of water on a cable cconnector could cause a big problem. Short of this the parts would have to be sent in to be checked out. The no alarm part sounds bad, I would test run them without the mutlicontroller. FWIW, the transformers are almost never the problem and you could test them with a volt meter.
