Problems with anemones. Please advice.

Hello,

I have 3 bbtip anemones in my tank.

One is very fine, growing and very healthy.

The other 2 are not fine. I don't know why! They are becoming smaller and smaller.. and brown.

Look at that pic above. This one is a green one with orange tips.. can't believe it's like that now.

Do you know what is happening? They were the size of a CD before.

Sometimes BTAs do not play well with each other. I've had it happen before.

I didn't know that.

But they are far from each other!

It's chemical allelopathy. They don't have to be touching. I think it's kind of unusual - most of the time BTAs are fine with each other, but not always.

You might try running some carbon.
