Problems with Gen2

I just recieved my Gen2 today and I have already ran into a problem. The pump ran at the constant speed for about 10 mins with no problems. I went to program the Long pulse mode but the pump will only run for a few seconds then stops,red light flashes,pump starts up and stops again,same red flashes. Does this a few times then just doesn't run at all. I have already tried to reset but continues to flash red only.

Can you offer any help???

It sounds like somehow the calibration sequence was entered while the pump was still on the aquarium. To cancel this, enter the pump into feed mode by holding mode, the pump will begin to blink white. Then hold both mode and set until the pump blinks yellow. Now unplug the pump and re-plug it back in. The pump should begin to operate normally.

Will this quiet down? Seems loud to me. I realize there is a break in period but after 12 hrs. of running still seems loud at 100 %.

I also have 2 tunze in the tank and the Vortech is considerable louder.
