hey victor i got my pump back and it still beeps after a couple pumps. u said it could be sand particles in the water so i filled a 100 gallon tank with just water and it did the exact same thing...what can i do because i love the wave in my tank but the beeping is driving me crazy... i want to throw it against the wall....thanks

We ran the pump for 2 days and could not get it to beep even once. Are you sure the blue sponge is not covering the pump? Is the pump putting out air bubbles?

sponge is not covering the pump and there are no bubbles.... does the prop when not spinning go freewheel or does it stay stationary... i everytime it beeps i have to touch the prop....

If the pump is off the pump doesn't freewheel because there is resistance from the motor coil at the poles. It kind of clicks through the fields, it takes some effort to push it. The watt meter readings on your pump at full power were completely normal at 62W. I am at a loss as to why you are having this problem but we couldn't replicate it here.
