problms with power compact

hey sometimes one of the lights on my power compact turns off i have checked for loose wires does this just mean that the bulb is going out

The bulb could be going bad or you could have a loose conection in one of the pins or corrosion.
Have you checked the ballast?

i have lloked at the ballast but not sure what to really check all i have really looked at was the wires and i didnot see any corrosion anywhere is there a way to check the ballast

I would check for excessive heat or maybe a defect in the casing.

is it a jebo light? same thing happened to me new ballast cost 25.00( not jebo )
