Profilux 2 Software Included?

I have had this for 2 years bought brand new, never used it. Is there supposed to be CD included with it?

Yes its called ProfiLux control which is the profiLux software which is free and what you control your profiLux with.
 
when you click on firmware update in the software it will ask you to select the file to be used and this is when you select the MHX file.
 
As said before, you do not open this file, you just select it when asked to select the firmware file when doing the firmware update

So to clarify - if you try and open the file in windows it will not open, this is normal 100%correct and expected.

Instead go to Profilux control - file - firmware update - select file - ProfiLux control opens it for you.

Hope that is clear :)
 
Basically, the firmware updates are not standalone updates - which is why just opening them does nothing. DL the profilux software from the site and then follow AQD's instructions above.
