to end all confusion and debates:
Yes - we will replace "dead on arrival" parts - this was never a question.
But - this update is not easy, if it is not made strictly according to the instructions the kit and/or the ProfiLux can be damaged.
In this case a replacement will not be for free, this is nothing unusual, I think this is common and according to the laws and everyone will understand this.
Please keep in mind: Customer service is very important for us, but we have commitments to all customers, and it would not be fair that the majority of our customers has to pay for mistakes from some.

The upgrade is not easy and you need some technical skills, but if you do it 100% according to the instructions it will not fail.
Until now a few hundred updates had been made - most of you made it very good and only a few problems occured - and you will be successful, too! No reason to panic.
And for those who had problems: We will sort this out and find a quick and sufficient solution.
