Profilux and Tunze Safety Connector

Hi,

Can Tunze Safety connector (6105.50) be used with Profilux as a pump controller - i.e., will the Profilux act the same way as with a Tunze Multicontroller in case of power outage so that Streams would run on battery?

Not at present, but GHL are working on a arm full of add ons and upgrades so anything is possible for future

You would do better using a UPS or floating a battery across the power supply.

Dose it really matter where the power is comming from?

All it is is a small relay in the 6105.50 so would think it would work.... it sits in line from power supply to the original "box" of the tunze where the Profilux connect.

I think the UPS is a better option also, I just got a APC Smart UPS 1400 that that will connect the Profilux, one powerbar my 2 tunze pumps in case of emergency... The UPS has a land card so it can notify me of power failure... kind of like the SMS but it was FREE, i just had to buy 2 new battery :c)
