ProfiLux II and the simulation of electrical storms

So I'm in the market for a good controller, especially one that can communicate with a computer, and I came across the ProfiLux II.

Now I haven't bought anything yet, however I was reading through the user manual to get an idea about the various features of this particular controller when I noticed the ProfiLux II's ability to simulate cloudy/rainy days as well as ELECTRICAL STORMS (complete with lightning flashes!). I understand the desire to simulate cloudy days... but electrical storms?!?

Was someone at GHL just being silly or what?

Sounds a little over the top but maybe some form of marine life uses it as a signal too spawn or do something else.

Here is a thread that has a controller comparison chart. The Profilux seems to be a very good unit, it is new to the market, and has some very nice features.
