Profilux Lighting control

Hello GHL!

I am a little confused when it comes to these controllers and lighting.

I know that the profilux controller can turn a Metal halide fixture on and off. But can it dim a Halide fixture as well?

Simply put, yes it can IF there was an MH ballast made with this feature, but sadly there is not.

So its not the ProfiLux that does not have the function but the ballast itself.

GHL can dim all manner of lighting, probably more than any other controller, but its dimming is restricted to what third party ballasts can do.
