Profilux Plus II being left behind :(

Why am I getting the feeling that my Profilux Plus II is becoming obsolete. After saving for many months to purchase, what I felt was a "high end" top-of-the-line aquarium controller, I am now unsure that I made the right decision. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE my Profilux II, and customer service has been FANTASTIC! I am just UNHAPPY in the direction that GHL is heading and only releasing new modules that are solely compatible with the Profilux 3. Other than the added benefits of wireless capabilities, I have ZERO desire to upgrade my Profilux II. Heck, I don't even care for the EX upgrade! HOWEVER, I am highly interested in being able to control my Vortech MP40's via my Profilux controller. And I am also HIGHLY interested in the Profilux Touch! So my question is: why is my Profilux II being left behind?

Now, given your great customer service, I'm sure I'll quickly get a reply explaining the situation from a technical standpoint and how it's simply not possible to control these newly released modules with the Profilux II due to "A," "B," "C," and "D" . Well, please don't take this the wrong way, I'm NOT interested in an excuse. What I am INTERESTED in is being able, or having the option to control my VORTECH MP40's with my current PROFILUX controller that I spent a great deal of money on. What I am INTERESTED in is being able to purchase the Profilux TOUCH and actually be able to use it. What I am interested in is having the OPTION as a Profilux consumer to purchase any and all new modules that will soon be relased. So again, my question is: Why are you letting my Profilux Plus II fall behind?

The profiLux Plus II is not being left behind it has always been modular future proof, by fitting the upgrade kit you then can upgrade your plus II to a ProfiLux 3

Modern technology uses functions that were not available when the plus II was launched so to have options such as wireless vortech control, touch screens and other cool stuff you have to bring the controller up to speed to match and this is where ProfiLux is globally unique.

Other controllers would make you throw your unit away where as with ProfiLux you simply upgrade it. Now thats amazing client care! A manufacturer looking after their clients in such a way is very unique.
