Profilux Plus II Ex connection issues

Last night I upgraded the firmware & Profilux Control to the latest versions. Since then I am having issues connecting the two over my home network. Basically I've found that if I unplug & reboot the Profilux, it will connect but will not connect on subsequent attempts even though no settings are changed.

Even when Profilux Control cannot connect, I can still access the LAN firmware by entering the static IP into a browser, so there is a connection working - sort of.

The whole point of this was to setup the new iOS app, before this I've been using Reef Status flawlessly for years.

due to problems with spammers all accounts in the ProfiLux Support Forum are activated manually by the mods

-> since the mods can't be online all day and night it can take a few hours until a new account is activated

I have asked GHL to look into this for you, if it is a firmware issue my guess is they likely will not reply until they have a solution.

I have changed the settings and will test
Im not too confident though as the problem before was having the device drop off the network all together and was unable to be pinged.
Im assuming the timeout settings here are only for connection between the PLC software and device

But I will try and report back

I'm afraid you're correct. This would only affect PLC connectivity (at least that's my theory).

Unfortunately the unit is timing out again... Sigh

I don't know what else to do, I can't afford to remove it from my aquarium now and lose it for weeks on end sending it back to Germany
Super bummed about all this
