Profilux/Powerbar placement in cabinet

Hi,

I recently moved my Profilux to the upper corner of my cabinet the most possible distance from my sump. I know it gets a little bit humid in there, but has never seemed all that bad when opening the doors. I do have a PSU for my LED's up in that same corner that tends to get a very thin layer of dust on it. The dust is a little bit salty, but this has not yet been a problem for the PSU which has a fan pulling air through it for 1+ year now. My cabinet is open at the back for about 1/3rd of the length, though it is on the opposite side.

Do you think the Profilux should be fine in this location as well?

Can the powerbar go pretty much anywhere there isn't water splashed on it, or should I try to be super careful with this too?

Thanks.

Salt is also conductive so theoretically cause a short, always hedge on the side of caution with electronics. My power bars are kept in the open air above any water.

I understand that technically there is an optimal solution.

Unfortunately my setup does not facilitate such at this time. I see a lot of photos of these things inside the cabinets on the internet and was mostly just wondering how many problems are seen due to this?

My stuff is all above the water and my sump is even 66% covered.

we do see problems from time to time It would be wrong for me to say otherwise, thats not a fault of the unit either, humidity and electrics especially salty humidity never mixes well, for one thing the corrosive nature can make contacts corrode over time.

Understood, also understood that its not the fault of the unit.

I will consider this a temporary solution while I come up with a better permanent one.
