Profilux Upgrade

Up until today I was planning on a High Amp Expansion Socket and The EX upgrade kit.

I need the High Amp for my Halides and the EX is just because I will need another 1-10v port, and I thought that the EX would be better then using a port for the 1-10v expansion card. And I would get the Salinity / Redox (which I don't really need)

Today I was looking at the Light II, which would give four high inrush protected power sockets, which right there would eliminate my need for the High Amp Expansion Socket.

The Light II would also give me two additional 1-10v ports aswell.

So a breakdown would look like this:

Ex Upgrade & High Amp socket
2 High amp sockets which would be controlled by one of my existing sockets, basically freeing up one socket for me.
1 1-10v port
1 - Salinity port (could be useful)
1 Redox port (Probably wouldn't use)
1 Level Port (Possible use in the future)
Cost $300 to $340

Light II
4 High Amp Sockets, (immediately giving me 4 extra powered sockets, all of which are high inrush)
2 1-10v ports (will use these with either lighting or more Tunze)
Temp - (Probably would not have a use for)
Cost $350

What do you guys think is the better deal? If only the Temp port on the Light II was a Ph that would be alot better for me.

apples and oranges this one.

This was one of the reasons for the introduction of the Light II so people could take the loading off the main profiLux controller, having the lights controlled seperately.

The choice is yours, even if you go for the Light II you can then still in the future add the EX upgrade to your main unit, this would give you huge expansion options.
