Progress on my Nano

OK so I got a stand built for it, Made it in one day.

I also built a little Sump out of a 10g, Nothing special...

And this is the Clown I got from Minh, He had some finrot when I got him. I think from the stress of the drive from davis to folsom and being at the club meeting. He is the inhabitant of the Nano.

He is all better now.

All I need to do now is get a skimmer and cut the tank and stand a hole for the drain line to the sump and return.

What did you use to cover the stand? I'm working on an 80g that I will have all plumbed and running in the garage before I move it into the house. I plan to leave the stand naked until the move, but I have not worked out a solution for covering it just yet.

I like the looks of your stand, and that just might work for my project.

I used higher end plywood, Like finishing peices. Cant remember what size thickness. I have a center brace running thru the middle under the top peice of plywood. I then used cherry stain.

It was about 20 bucks for a 8x4 peice, They had some nicer finishes for $40, but I liked the way this one looked with the wood grain.
