I'd just make the couch into a sump and leave it. Start an new fad...
Won't bother me, I have a recliner, but when my wife gets home there may be trouble.:D

Progress is slow
Two trips to the hardware store for different size SS Screws and a laser to align the cables for the Solar Flare

First Casualty, due to laziness
I did not put a screen over the intake to the skimmer on the hospital tank. I looked at it and thought "I better put that screen on there" then did nothing, found the clown fish in there a few minutes ago.
I have no Idea how long I have had him, over 12 years.....:(

Nice.

Shweet.

Sick-phat-tight-pimp-bomb.

Etc.

Looking forward to seeing the next set of pics - well done, sir! :-)

 I think you covered most of the bases.

oh, forgot shiznit!:D

Guy, I've heard of vodka dosing, but that doesn't look like vodka? And surely the snifters can't be considered necessary reefing equipment!

Thanks guys, and no, any glass will do
Just had to Celebrate another milestone.

Stall warning came on today.
I noticed the doors to the cabinet dragging on the carpet once the tank was in place. Adding 600 lbs of water is not going to help.
Monkeyed around with moving the hinges, but me and wood don't mix, decided not to trash my way through it and called in a life line.
Tomorrow Morning a contractor buddy is bringing over a very fine tooth saw to trim an inch off the bottom of the doors, and a special Iron to reattach the 3/4" banding across the bottom.
Spent the afternoon cleaning the sump, skimmer, pumps, hoses, etc.
