heres proof that i have gotten off my butt and am workin on the tank a little

It's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like the upper part isn't resting on top of any of the vertical pieces. If you leave it that way then much of the weight of the tank will be put on the screws.

I notched the vertical pieces so part of them was underneath the top boards.

Does that make any sense?

its a 110 and i will have more pics soon, i ecpect it to be done by the end of the month. I'm on nook's 5 year plan

I do have the floor of the stand done, and also the top has a 3/4" piece of plywood on top too.
I still need the doors to get done, the finish, the cabinet, and the trim.
 
Lights- 2 250w se metal halide
Filteration- berlin turbo skimmer-fuge
a few Sps few lps, but mainly softies
Fish i got no idea
