prop lighting

hi peeps, i set up a shallow 5ft long 6" deep zoa prop tank recently, filtering using live rock rubble and made a full length spray bar that runs along the back producing a nice flow across whole tank using a 1500lth pump attached, also using an airlift skimmer which doesnt strip everything out of the water like good skimmers would but just tobe on the safe side so to speak, im going to add 4 evil damsels and feed those to produce more nutrients for the zoa's.

my question is about lighting, ive a 3x T5 35w luminaire which when purchased was fitted with 3 white tubes, this has encouraged my pink frags to grow new polyps with ease, quite quick but they still not coloured up as they were before i fragged them so recently ive changed all 3 tubes to Narva Blue Tubes aprox 20k rating to aid colouring.

as im new to this zoa lark (tho becoming addicted more) is there anything i can change to my set up to help growth and colouring up of these pinks and also help in general with my future fragging activaties?

You might have better luck in the coral propagation forum.

That being said .. pics?!!
Sounds like a nice setup. I'm donig a 24x24x8. Small frag tank but should be fun, zoos are small anyway :)

The more blue the light spectrum the better color but you give up growth. The more white light the faster the growth with dull coloring... Thats how it goes!!!! Good Luck.
