Proper Flow

Does anyone have a video of the highest flow you should subject an SPS to enduring? I put one of my new SPS frags at the top of the tank about 10" away from a MP-10 that's set on Reef crest with a max power of 65%. I can move it if I need to because my tank is pretty sparse, but that looked like a neat place to put the frag.

It's not ripping off flesh or anything like that, but at times when the MP-10 ramps up, the little polyps are flying around pretty good. I just want to make sure I don't hurt it because it's a pretty cool piece.

I'm not an SPS expert, but as long as you aren't noticing tissue damage and the polyps are still extending, they should be fine.

I have 1600 GPH in my 8g display, the 2 seriatopora that I picked up at the swap seem to love it.

As long as the flow isnt constantly bashing the coral..all is well. You're running on reefcrest at 65%. I see no issued with this. I'd like to say that its best not to place anything right infront of the PH tho to encourage more water movement
