I would recommend against its use. pH buffers are not a good way to raise and maintain pH. They will raise your alkalinity to the roof and the pH rise is short lived at best. :)
 
I would raise pH with baking soda SLOWLY.... frequent small water changes should be the only thing you need to do to maintain the ph in your tank. You can use the online calculators to get suggestions on the amount of baking soda/system water in order to raise the ph safely. Remember everything is done slowly in this hobby never rush and dump chemicals in an effort to fix an issue...
