Pros and Cons of 2 message boards

What are the pros and cons of having to C-sea message boards? One here and one on our website?

Cons:
Most people don't look at both
One more thing to have to manage
Won't get as much traffic as RC

Pros:
Don't have to follow RC rules

That is about all that I can think of.

the C-sea message board should be for posible new members to ask question and things like group buy that RC does not like on there site and a private section for officers to talk about club businesss

Hi All,

Why not do all the messaging on Reef Central and if someone wants to sell,promote,ect.(things that Reef Central does not permit) start a thread on Reef CEntral and say pick up the thread on our Csea Web page. Just a thought.......... Our club mesage board could be for all the Reef Central tabo things!

I think listing all the subcatergories on the club site is a bit overkill for the traffic it receives. Why not do like Dave mentioned but have 1 general message board on the C-SEA site.

I like the way DFW does there site or club site on RC
