Protein Skimmer Question

How long do you guys run yours? 24/7, couple hours a day?? Just looking to see what some do.

You really have to run it 24/7. Due to the fact of water turnover and constant pollution it is not feasible to leave it running any less.

I run my 24/7 as well. Most of the time I have found it that if you don't, you spend more time setting up to skim right than you do skimming

I've always ran mine 24/7 but I remember reading that some people thought it would pull too much out of the water. But I figure if I'm doing weekly water changes that shouldnt' matter. But thanks for your input guys.
