Protein Skimmer question

I installed my protein skimmer yesterday into my aquarium. Checked today and had lots of green stuff in holding chamber. But i also noticed that through the output filter that lets the water back into the tank has millions of bubbles floating all over my tank. very tiny bubbles.

Will this hurt anything? How do i stop it?

let the skimmer breakin for a couple of days......if it doesnt stop, tweak the air input slowly....and wait a day...and then again....
the micor-bubles (IMO) wont hurt anything

do you have a sump?

Nope... I do not have a sump. I am running live rock and a fluval canister filter, 2 power heads and the skimmer.

do you have skimmer pre filter box that the water return into to help trap the bubbles?

I am running running a hang on skimmer. All the water comes and goes directely back into the tank. I just dump the skum produced.

they sell a skimmer box that helps with mirco bubbles not sure on the name but I am sure someone here will chime in and let us know.
By the way what kind of skimmer do you use?
