protein skimmer question

hello all

whats a better protein skimmer

coralife skimmer or a cpr bak pak skimmer. they are both hob skimmer.

i am not sure there is a big difference in performance.they both work ok for a lightly stocked tank.

my tank is a 29 gallon tank

does that make a difference

i believe it is easier to mod the corallife to make it work a bit better with a mesh mod or better pump

what do you mean by that. whats a mesh mod and why modify it

a mesh mod uses mesh instead the normal impellar,giving more air and better performance.you can search it with the search function and read about it.i dont use needle wheel skimmers so i dont know enough to speak on them.try this link.these guys know
