Protein Skimmer

Need some opinions on protein Skimmers we are currently using a Corallife needle wheel skimmer but it is not enough for what we have so we are looking to upgrade don't really want to spend more that 500 but I am actually wanting a skimmer bigger for future upgrades in tank size. I currently have a 150 Gallon display tank with a 30 gallon sump and Refugium.

THanks that MC500 is only upto 120G I am looking for something at least 400 gallon system!!!

theres a asmg4 for sale but i think my local lfs has one for 350 the same as he is saleing his used one for rated for 450 gal

your not gonna find many skimmers rated for a 400 gal. tank for 500.00 your best bet is just to keep an eye out in the for sale forums.

theres a forum some where for the asm skimmer owners who like it it is the same as a euro reef and uses a sedra needle wheel pump

Any suggestions on a AquaC EV-400 Protein Skimmer? they are rated at 450G

some perople really like it also they sell alot of skimmers and some dont like it i think the biggest number of skimmers you see being sold used are aquac skimmers but most are the remora
