Protein Skimmers Question

I am looking for "expert" reviews on In-sump Skimmers. Can you all tell me in "your" opinion what would be the correct size and is the least expensive, but best ones on the market. I am figuring on a sump that is somewhere in the 29 gallon range maybe a little larger no taller than 16" and it will probably be designed like Melev's designs.

My skimmer #5 is the skimmer I should have bought to begin with. I should have not wasted the money spent on skimmers 1-4 and gone straight to the recirculating ASM from day one. Which skimmer depends on what you plan on keeping. Some critters like slightly dirty water and some cannot tolerate it. Once you know what you want to keep, it gets easier to select equipment.

Cheap and In-sump.....Modded ASM is the cheapest/best way to go...

i have Euro Reef ES5-3 that I just ordered a new pump for, so basicly a new skimmer. It would be perfect for what you are looking to do. I have it for sale in the selling forums for $210 shipped and I figured would be $30 to ship so subtract that and you could have a real nice skimmer for $180. PM me if you are interested
