protein skimmers

hello
got a question which protein skimmer are good and will fit my need. i have a 125 gal reef tank i currently have a cheap berlin classic skimmer that i think its broken because now when i change my water it foams up too early and the excess water comes out
any suggestions would be apprieciated

Do you have a sump?
