Protien skimmer for a 75 gallon mixed reef?

Any one have a good recommendation on a skimmer for a 75 mixed reef preferably one that is easy to fine tune and doesn't over flow.My reef octopus SRO 2000int pump just went out on me and I'm looking for a replacement skimmer did not really like the reef octopus it was a real disappointment to say the least.I have a 20 gallon long sump that has a 7in depth to it, the bio load on the the tank is quit low right now just a Yellow Tang but I may add a fish or two down the road. Any idea's would be Appreciated.

With that low of bioload its no wonder you were disappointed. I run that same skimmer on a 125g with 2 tangs and 12 other fish, id say med to med high bioload and it could still use more of a load to skim better.

Id personally recommend a Reef Octopus Classic 110INT or a Reef Octopus Classic 110 Space Saver, that is if you don't mind sticking with Reef Octopus.
And they still might not skim consistently with that low of bioload.

You might skip the skimmer all together if your doing regular WCs and maintenance.

This. If you plan on getting a new skimmer, then go with something smaller. There are a lot of other good skimmers out there too other than Octopus and since it's a small skimmer, cost shouldn't be all that of an issue.
