Protien Skimmer

Has anyone ever heard of TFxxx Top Fathom Protien Skimmers?

I was shopping around for an ASM G2 for my 75g tank and ran accross the above. Is it better than an ASM?

Also, would the G2 be over kill? would a G1 work with my tank?

I also have a 55g sump, 29g of that is the Fuge.

It is starting out to be FOWLR for the first year till I get my feet wet then I will be adding anemones

Sorry dont know about the above mentioned skimmer, but I would say a g2 would be just about right. You cant really overkill with skimming, the more the better. With that big of a sump you could prob even go G3. Especially if you want to keep alot of sps.

I have a G2 on my 75 gallon tank. It works great, but has times when it doesn't make enough bubbles for some reason. But seems to work better when I clean out the salt creep from the hose. I do find that it makes more microbubbles than most skimmers, like a euro-reef. I have a Euro-Reef too and it performs about the same as the G2, but with less microbubbles and has lasted for many years in my tanks.

I have not heard of that skimmer either.
