Protien skimmers

Just wondering is this the type of venturi pump that will produce lots of tiny bubbles. econdly would anyone be interested in one of these skimmers?

Those are pretty old Red Sea Berlin skimmers. The one on the left is the original venturi model. The one on the right, the Berlin X2 was actually a needlewheel driven skimmer and not a venturi skimmer. If memory serves me, those are both pretty solid skimmers with a good reputation.

Thanks my main question is the skimmer in the pics. does not come with a pump. Does this pump make lots of small bubbles

Yes, that's a needlewheel pump and needlewheel skimmers tend to make more and smaller bubbles than venturis, IMO.
