ps cs3 signature - adding to photo

ive been searching for a while but i am unable to find good directions to add a signature/copyright to a photo.

i already have a brush that is set up but i cant seem to change the SIZE of my name once i apply the brush to the photo.

can anyone help?

Make a new layer and transform that layer to whatever size you want.
