Pseudanthias pictilis

Was able to secure a couple of these. Anyone have experience with them? Not a ton of information available.

I saw very healthy specimens at the Georgia Aquarium. Gorgeous, but HUGE! They didn't hang out very close to each other, either.

My experience with one pair was that they tend to be very sensitive, easily frightened, inclined to hide, and very particular about food, at least at first. This was a pair of fairly large fish, about 4+ inches, so that may have been a factor. They are extremely pretty fish, beautifully colored and become more spectacular as they grow. They are one of the larger Anthias.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, we received 20 total, and most are 4", which was bigger than I had expected. I'm not too concerned with space or food, as the tank they are going into (after QT) is 2500 gal., and if they don't accept any frozen foods initially, we always have live adult brine/mysis that should entice them to begin feeding. Thanks, again.

Not sure why... I have never, ever seen a small pictilis. To be expected...
