I've been looking for this fish for awhile now with no luck. Just wondering if anyone has ever kept this fish in captivity or has come across it in the hobby? Accroding to Fishbase it only comes from the Moluccas islands in Indonesia. Any help about where I might find this fish or any experince with this fish would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have one. Great little fish. Doesnt get too big and is not very aggressive. Ive seen them through LA on occasion but they sell quite fast.

My LFS had two of them about a year ago and I took the plunge since I had been looking for one for ages.

I actually purchase two from my LFS last summer. I bought one smaller in hopes that they would form a pair. I kept them in a 75g with plently of rock work. After a couple of months I gave the smaller one to my brother because the larger would chase it everytime they saw each other. I would say they are semi-agressive, especially with fish of a similar shape or color. I had to remove a pair of fairy wrasses because the Pseudo wouldn't stop chasing them when they came close to its main "den".

Hope that helps!

Well, good to here that they actually make it into the states! dflad, where on LA do see them, Divers den? Thanks.

yes divers den.

I have a small neon goby, some other smaller fish and this guy leaves them alone. he is quite inquisitive, likes to meet the new fish, but after that he could care less.

mine does, yes. The one I saw on LA looked a bit different in coloration, more like the fishbase picture.
