I received my PTC6 last week and will be installing it today.

The construction quality is great... just need to add water.

I've been using a Propeller Breeze to cool my tank... there has been more temperature variability than I would like and it doesn't quite get as cool at night as I would like it. I'll post some before and after temperature graphs once I get the system in place.

Congratulations on being the very first in North America to receive yours :) all eyes are now watching.

I have been using a Propeller Breeze 4 for cooling on my 120g tank. I have a Giesemann Moonlight with two 250W MH bulbs and four 54W T5 tubes.

I have set my temperature control to be 25.5 degrees celcius (77.9 F) during the day and 24.5 degrees celcius (76.1 F) at night.

The graph below shows the temperature over the last two weeks.

The temperature of the tank has been reaching a max over 26.5 during the day and never quite reaching the desired minimum of 24.5. The 2.5 degrees celcius variance (4 F variance) is more than I would like.

I will post an updated graph after running the PTC6 over the week.

Hi

it would be interesting to know the ambient room temperature also. This will give future users an idea of operational ranges.
 
The house is air conditioned through the summer and kept at a pretty constant 25 degrees celcius.
 
Looks great...I've had mine sitting at my desk at work since Friday...too bad I don't have the tank to put in on setup yet!
 
Matthias and I have been working through the results from my testing over the last week. Unfortunately, it appears that the PTC6 unit was damaged during shipping (one of the boxes arrived half-open), is not working properly and will need to be replaced.

I will post again once I receive the replacement unit and I have a chance to test it.

I can't say enough good things about the support Matthias has provided.

many thanks for your understanding, I am really sorry yours arrived by "drop kick" carriers and will make sure you are up and running swiftly so we can get this review into gear.
