I brought home a new gonipora yesterday. It looks healthy, its polyps are up, and it has good color. However, today it seems to be "puffed up". The polyps are up and the color is good, but it just looks so swollen up--like it was injected with air or water. What's this all about?
It is on the sand in good light but not intense, with moderate flow from a nearby power head. But the stream is not directed at the gonipora.
