Puffer and Eel and Ich

I prefer to go the Copper route as it can cover more diseases. I am pulling all my fish from my tank and QT'ing for 6 weeks leaving my tank fallow. This should "clean" the display tank I presume.

A. Can I treat a porcupine puffer with copper? Namely Seachem Cupramine.

B. Can eels carry ich? If so can I treat them with Seachem Cupramine as well as a preventative?

C. Does biological filtration even work/occur in a copper environment?

Yes, but hypo is better. Yes. Yes, if the biofilter is established before you add the copper. Test the copper level twice a day and use as directed on the bottle the first two days. Then keep checking the copper level and adding as needed daily.
