Puffer Arrow Crab Mix?

I Have a Hawaiian Blue Puffer in my 55 gallon tank. I have had him for nearly 6 months and he has not devoured my hermit crabs or emerald crabs. If I add an arrow crab will the puffer co-exist peacefully, or will he try to make a meal out of the arrow crab?

Hard to say, but you've been lucky so far. Maybe that'll continue. I'd rate it a gamble.

More often than not, the puffer will regard the crab as a main course (and it will thank you for it, though not sure how the crab will react). If I had to bet, I would say it is a gamble with the odds relatively heavily weighed against you. In other words, I wouldn't do it if I cared about the crab.
