what type of puffer will fit in a 24 gallon aquapod

Possibly a small valentini but that would be pushing it, I'd say a valentini needs atleast a 30 for life.

I think you could go with a canthigaster bennetti or a coronata, They only get about 3to 4" full size.

I think all puffers should be in at least 30 gallon, I really wouldn't do one in a square tank like that, theres not much surface area which is something that matters greatly to puffers.

what about a small green spotted puffer i have seen them in 10 gallon full strength saltwater tanks

as adults, GSPs get around 6". IMO a 29 gallon Aquapod is too small. as active as puffers are, I would only consider one of the smaller sharpnose puffers for this tank.
