I have a puffer I got from a rescent group buy and he isnt eating tried mysis and live bring but he could care less even soaked in garlic. anyone have any ideas?

i had the same problem with a dogface.... i had to ween him into eating with live ghost shrimp.

I know its not close but Pets Plus in lockport sells them by the dozen for a decent price and they normally have them in stock. If you end up makeing the trip lmk

best way would be to buy one that eats well already, but there are tricks to make them hungry

i had a porupine puffer had same problem i feed him silver sides frozen food he loved them . pet store said he only eat live they where wrong. i have a whole package of it if you want it.

I've had several porcupines over the years, all were good eaters. The one I have now likes krill of course, but loses his little mind when I stick a whole fresh shrimp in the top of the tank and let him munch on it. (I think he likes the challenge of biting through the shell). Good luck, puffers are great fish!
