Well i am at my wits end getting this thing off of a rock filled with acans and micromussa. He has to go. I tried blowing him off, Placing him in a low light area, and the thing wont move. I usually will bend and move things around to accomodate for his wandering, But i will not budge on this, I will not bust up the rock he is on.
Whats the safest way to pry him up. I have pulled him from glass, But i feel pulling him from the rock will hurt his foot. I dont want to kill him just move the thing.
TIA

I'd put the ice cube in a baggie if I were to try it. If it's a rock that is pretty flat, carefully get your fingernail under a part of his foot. Then slowly work your finger under the foot. This has worked for me before.

I have always just turned the rock upside down and eventually it will let go. Be patient, it takes 10-15 minutes.

Exactly the way I've removed several rbta's in the past.

Ohh Thanks. That sounds good. He is ****ed right now. He was introduced to the new tank. I'll wait a couple days.
Thanks MUCH!!

that has worked great for me, but if you have to a credit card slid under the foot will work.

blast a powerhead right at the foot...between the foot and the rock it will slowly peel back.....then in time you can turn the rock upside down, or just keep hitting it with the powerhead...

If you have kids, you might have a plastic baby spoon lying around. use the spoon to slowly inch his foot off the rock. the thick spoon edge shouldn't hurt the foot.
