Pulse start ballast question

I have a 250 watt Blue Wave ballast (can't recall the actual number, but it's a little older) that I'm running a Reeflux 10K lamp on currently and I know that the previous owner was running an Ushio 14K on it when I got it.

My issue is - what lamps can be run on a pulse start ballast?

Sanjay's website doesn't break out pulse starts (as far as I know or can tell).

Most on-line retailers don't state so.

I'll be ready to buy a new bulb soon but am thinking of changing to a different one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the pulse start ballasts will operate pretty much any single ended bulb. These are the "norm" and not the exception regarding MH ballasts.
