Pulsing Xenia Close At Night?

I just got some pulsing xenia today. Do they normally close up at night? Also, how much flow do they like?

Mine close but then reopen in a couple of hours and pulse all through the night.

Mine do the same thing as reefshadow's, they will close up after the lights go out, but during the night they will kinda re-open (not fully) and pulse...

mine close occacioanly, when the feel like it. they clost at random times, lights on, lights off...they are really wierd

As for your flow question IME they are not real picky. I have some in pretty high flow and I also have some that hardly get any flow I dont have a problem with either.

Mine too close up at night for the most part.

I've tried putting them in a few different spots. Right now they are in a higher flow area and they are not pulsing. I plan to try to move them to a quieter corner to see if they will start back up.

Mine also continues to pulse throughout the night after a brief period of retraction when the lights go out. I like to place it in a low to medium flow because I like to see it pulsing. I can't appreciate the pulsing in high flow but it seems to do alright there as well.

Mine close all night and fully open and pulse during the lights on. Nothing to worry about here.
