My Pulsing Xenia use to pulse alot. After I had accident where I forgot my Ro/DI unit was on and I almost overflowed the tank and put a extra 25 gallons of water into the tank. The first thing I did was test the salinity of the water and it was a 1.023 so it didn't drop much. I did siphoned out about 10 gallons and let the other 15 evaporate out. After this happen my xenia seemed to stop pulsing like it use to. Now it pulses maybe 10 times a minute and thats all together. I have two pieces and they are about the size of goft balls.

Any theroys on why this happen and any advise on how to get them back to there orginal self.

P.s. this happen over 2 weeks ago... And All my tank specs are in my signature ;)

im not positive but i think the pulsing of the xenias has to do with them taking in calcium...did your alk/calc levels get way out of wack? also 2 weeks isnt much time for anything to recover...idd give it more time and make sure everything is in check.

just my 2 cents. :sad2:
