Pump adding Heat

I just added a Reeflo Marlin pump to my system for my skimmer. Since adding the pump, I notice my water temperature is a bit higher than normal. Can an external pump add heat?

My guess is the pump would have to warm up from running a lot.I doubt it would be a noticed temperature change. Also what size tank?less water would be more prone to change.

tank is 120g.

In a tank that size I would say it is unlilely.
