Pump advice

I have a 280g reef in my basement man cave. I use a reeflo hammerhead gold currently but it's about time for new bearings etc. Haven't really followed new technology as I've been happy with how it's worked. However it's a bit noisy, anything out there that's a little more quiet and as reliable? The hammerhead pretty much runs my whole system and is the heart of it all. Any new options would need the same gph etc.

The new DC pumps from Ecotech and Red Dragon are amazing. You cant even here them run. I don't know how much flow you need but you should check them out.

I love the Exotech... but that is my opinion. I am going to run at least 2 on my 265, so I understand you worry and concern for flow.

Please look around though. There are quite a few larger pumps that are worth it.
