I will guess that this sort of device does not exist but is there a pump which can be used in a sump application pumping around 3500-4000 litres per hour that in a situation where the sump runs dry it will switch off before it overheats?
Lots of electronical top offs have the ability to turn on and off devices when the water hits a certain level. they usually come with two sensors, one for high water and one for low.
