I have an MP40 WES that has started to give me the flashing red led indicating a pump disconnect.
The problem that I am having with the pump disconnect calibration is after I get the driver into feed mode and uncouple the wet side, for the life of me, I can't get past the second step which is to hold both the mode and set buttons until the LED is blinking white and yellow. It just stays in feed mode. I've tried several times ensuring that each pin under the rubber button is depressed. I've even tried with other pumps that are mounted along a wall of four of these pumps even though only the initial one pump is giving me the error code.
I basically gave up and shut the one pump off and remembered that when I had the gen2 pumps, this procedure was pretty simple so I dug around the closet and found one of my old pumps. I decided to switch out the Ecosmart driver with an old gen2 driver and attempt the disconnect calibration again and this time it worked easily and the pump is working.
My question is why am I having difficulty getting the Ecosmart driver to perform the same procedure, am I doing something wrong or is there a trick to this?
I would like to get the driver back on the pump if possible.
TIA
