pump for osmolator

the pump for osmolator is too loud.
is it possible to hook up another 3rd party pump instead?

I might first try suspending it, they are much quieter if not resting against a hard surface. You might also try tipping it upside down while submerged, air trapped in the pump makes them much louder. On a full size 3155, you can replace the pump with a 3150.110 switched socket and use the pump of your choice. Otherwise I don't know of any 9-12V DC pumps that will use less than 1200mA, which is what you would need to connect a pump directly.
