Pump for Protein Skimmer Broke

The pump on my protein skimmer broke, actually the wireing got a good slice in the outer wireing skin and now I'm afraid to put it any where near water for fear of electricution.

Does anyone have a used pump they are trying to get rid of? I'm just trying to save a little money so my wife doesn't kill me first.

dkermitb, what is the skimmer brand?
how many GPH is your current pump and your head loss?
you may be able to use a different/less expensive pump if its compatable.

FWIW, if the current pump is still working, you can buy heat shrink tubing and some super glue gel to seal each end of the slice, alot cheaper than buying a new pump...

The protein skimmer is a Urchin, with a Rio 1400 pump.
